HAHA I watched this movie last night, not knowing what to expect. I didn't research it too deeply, and expected an over-the-top, slightly spoofish asian horror movie. What I got was the most fucking awkward humor I've ever seen. It's one of those movies that you appreciate more after-the-fact, while mentally recapping all those strange moments, and just chuckling to yourself at the weirdness of it all. It perfectly straddles that weird line between dead-seriousness and oddly uncomfortable dry humor. What a bizarre little film.
